Technology in the Multimedia/Inquiry Lesson
In the Multimedia/Inquiry lesson, I use a SMARTboard lesson in order to help my students understand the concept of folktales in a little more depth. This technology lesson involves involves an interactive assessment in the lesson itself and gives the opportunity to the students to actually use the SMARTboard and interact with it.
Technology in the Socratic Lesson
In the Socratic Lesson, I have found several pictures online for the students to analyze. The purpose of these pictures is to inspire the students to think critically. These pictures of old printing presses and metal moveable type blocks are meant to make the students think critically about why folktales were passed down orally instead of being printed, even though the technology was available.
Here are the pictures I used:

Technology in the Cooperative Lesson
In the Cooperative Lesson, I have the students doing their own research in order to participate in a group project. Students are given a folktale to look for, such as "Cinderella" or "Little Red Riding Hood," then are asked to go to the computer lab and find an accurate telling of that story. I do have examples for them to use if they absolutely cannot find a good representation, but this is meant to be an exercise to see if they can find reliable sources.
Here are my examples:
Cinderella
The Fair One With Golden Locks
Jack and the Bean Stalk
Little Red Riding Hood
All pictures and sources are listed in their individual lesson plans in full.
